Approach
As a psychotherapist, I help clients enter into an emotionally safe space to discover and move through inner obstacles to growth and happiness. I assist clients in aligning their lives with what is most uplifting and meaningful to them, while working through habitual patterns and psychological blocks with compassion and acceptance.
My deepest commitment as a therapist is to the well-being of my clients. I use an eclectic approach to therapy, tailoring my practice to best serve a client’s unique and individual exploration.
Primary therapeutic approaches include mindfulness-based therapy, cognitive-behavorial, psychodynamic, body-centered, client-centered and consciousness-based approaches. My theoretical orientation blends principles of psychoanalysis (ego dynamics and unconscious influences) within the broader context of depth psychology, transpersonal, contemplative and consciousness-based theories.
I see individuals and couples for both long term therapy and short term solution focused counseling/coaching. I also offer counseling services in Spanish.
