Believe and Change
Your Life's Direction
At Spiritus Counseling, we believe true transformation begins with faith.
Rooted in Christ-centered guidance, we walk alongside you in your journey of healing, renewal, and hope.
Our mission is to help you find clarity, peace, and strength through compassionate counseling.
When you believe, you open the door to change—spiritual, emotional, and personal. Together, let us chart a new direction for your life, guided by grace and purpose.
Why Spiritus
Spiritus Counseling was established to support the administration of truth through God’s Word, the only authority for absolute truth; I will not deviate from this conviction.
I have experienced numerous blessings from God through provisions of his faithfulness; blessings that arrived in time of need. They’ve come through answered prayer, financial resources, and obedience to scriptural direction.
As a result, I wholeheartedly believe in the power of God’s word. My commitment is to be directed by God’s Holy Spirit as a guide into your personal struggles with habitual behaviors.

About Me
I began pursuing a counseling career as an Assistant Resident Manager at The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center in North Las Vegas, Nevada where I was later hired on as a Chaplain’s Assistant. This was a place I thought I could make a difference; however, I realized that the difference had to be born in me first.
After completing my Bachelor’s degree, God called me to return to Tallahassee, Florida to turn myself in for a 20-year felony fugitive warrant. I was looking at a 2–5-year prison sentence but God chose to honor my obedience and I was released after 19 days on time served because of the radical change in my lifestyle the few years prior as I went to college. Upon release from the county jail, I remained connected to The Salvation Army in Tallahassee. During the next few weeks, I polished my resume while living in a Christ-centered shelter. I sent the resume to The Salvation Army Southern Command Human Resources Office in Atlanta, Georgia. The next day I received an email from The Salvation Army Director at the Rehabilitation Center in Austin, Texas for a position as their Chaplain. My dream job. I served in this position for seven years.
After changing my career direction I began working with adult persons with various mental health issues for 3 years; I am currently a Recovery Manager for persons with comorbid and adult mental health issues.
