Boulder Counseling Services: FREE Articles and Essential Resources For Inspired Living
Free resources from a Boulder Therapist...
Here you will discover articles, tips and strategies compiled in my Boulder counseling and psychotherapy practice, designed to help guide your process of self-inquiry and realize your potential.
There is an inner sense of fulfillment that comes from living life in a way that is most meaningful to you.
These resources are meant to help you reach a deeper understanding of the roots of your struggles. Once you work through something and understand a painful dilemma in a new context, it no longer binds you.
This frees you to devote your life to what you care about most.
As a therapist, you get a feel for the landscape of emotional pain and human dilemmas, and you discover what actually helps.
“What does it really mean to be more compassionate with myself, and how do I do that?” is one of the many questions answered here. I will also be writing about...
- How to let go of guilt and shame
- Getting to the underpinnings of anger and resentment
- The critical factor of healthy and fulfilling relationships
- Understanding the roots of anxiety and depression
- Mindfulness and the fulfillment of your potential
There is no substitute for the inner, transformational discoveries possible when working with a competent, professional counselor.
Yet sometimes all you need is...
a key insight, solution or new approach to discover your own answers within.
Why “Spiritus”?
The Latin word "spiritus" has several meanings, such as spirit, courage, breath, soul, and vigor. “Spiritus” captures the therapeutic power of the psychological application of spiritual principles. The famous Swiss psychoanalyst, Carl Jung, describes the process of recovering from addictions as “spiritus contra spiritum” (more on this soon).
Many people seek counseling when they’re struggling to apply spiritual principles they already value. You may be asking yourself...
- How can I surrender and let go of that loss, or that relationship?
- How can I live my life in a way that reflects my core values - and what are my core values?
- How can I be more mindful of unconscious influences in my life which seem to hold me back?
- How do I rediscover a sense of joy and creativity in life?
This is a new, updated site for my Denver / Boulder psychotherapy and counseling practice. In addition to providing information on my services, my goal is to share the most effective resources I continue to discover as a therapist that you can apply to your life today.
